Canon 6D Mark II Release Date
Canon 6D Mark II Release Date – After the success of the previous year canon EOS 6D, many people are waiting for his successor. The good news for similar things Eos 6D there will be remote. But the bad news may not be marketed funds first half year 2017. launched with Canon Eos 5 d Mark IV in August to release months septermber/October, there are opportunitieswill be the release of the EOS-D Mark II by 2016.
The only other ILC camera we think will be coming in 2016, will be a new mirrorless camera from Canon. The EOS M4 may be announced, but I don’t see it coming to market until 2017 as well.
We have been told by an unconfirmed source that the EOS 6D Mark II will sport the same resolution as the EOS 5D Mark IV, which is being reported at 24mp. We’ve also been told that it’s possible that the EOS 6D Mark II will not get DPAF, but I’d take that with a grain of salt, as it’s still too early to be sure about final specifications.
We loved the Canon 6D when it first came out, but at almost four years old, it’s looking quite tired now and its specs don’t compare that well with the Nikon D750’s. As Canon’s ‘entry-level’ full-frame camera it occupies an important position in the EOS lineup, making it a shoe-in for a refresh.
Until the 5DS and 5DS R came along Canon was quite conservative about pixel count. Jumping from 20 to 24Mp would be enough for many photographers, but some may expect closer to 36 million. A relatively high pixel count would make the 6D Mark II much more attractive to existing Mark I owners.
With just 11 points, the 6D’s AF system is rather lacklustre, and we think the new model will see a big jump in this area, perhaps up to 61 to match the 5D Mark III. Low light and continuous shooting performance also needs to improve, and a maximum sensitivity of ISO 204,800 seems likely along with 6fps shooting. Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS technology also seem likely, and we’re hoping there will be a vari-angle touchscreen as well, as on the APS-C format EOS 80D, to make the camera more user-friendly.Canon Rumors
There’s very little being said regarding the actual specs of the camera but a new battery may replace the LP-E6/E6N in order to help reduce weight. The cynics might say that the slight weight reduction is just an excuse to sell a new battery and line Canon’s pocket.
Users hoping for an articulated screen or electronic viewfinder will be disappointed to hear neither are planned to be included, and they will have to settle for an increase of up to 4 megapixels. The 24mp-or-less sensor is said to likely be unique to this model, as is the current sensor of the 6D.
